The web/browser based version of Legal Files, Legal Files Web, was developed specifically to work in a distributed networked environment. In developing the web application, Legal Files Software, Inc. made a conscious effort to keep the system as pure as possible to support the broadest range of technical environments and policies. Included in this was the decision NOT to use any Applets or Active X components that must be downloaded to the local browser in order to run the application. This development approach not only means the application can be deployed over most any LAN, WAN or even dial-up network connection, it also reduces the hardware requirements of the solution, saving customers money on their technology and infrastructure costs.
