   I recommend Secretariat highly. It is very important to do extensive due diligence – include researching what other vendors have and to ensure that your requirements are clear and processes are in place. This is important because each package has something different to offer. Also make sure that your IT department can support Secretariat's infrastructure requirements, you'll need strong SQL expertise, so involve your IT people from the beginning of evaluation! Reporting capabilities are very strong and very important to us, but not the most intuitive. Have had issues with getting reports to work properly, sometimes what you think is the right setup, isn't and setting criteria can seem to be a little self-contradictory. Have to put yourself in the mind of the programmers when setting criteria, which is hard to do! Best part of using Secretariat is Bridgeway itself. They are very responsive, and even though account reps have changed, I never have a problem getting thru to someone or getting a call back - smooth handoffs. and customer support is great.
