The Outlook Send Assistant works within Outlook on HTML formatted e-mails to provide various types of functionality, including the ability to verify the e-mail addresses users are sending to before the e-mail is sent, verifying the user wants to send the message externally, verifying that the user wants to Reply to All (especially with GAL Distribution Lists), notifying a message recipient that they were a BCC recipient, and offering various delivery options depending on how the firm wants the product configured.
