    In theory a good program, but the cost has been much more than expected (initial outlay plus yearly "maintenance" cost, plus that to independent contractors who can actually make the program work.) The "message" portion of the program had to be disabled first as it locked up the entire office whenever someone sent one, and people could not keep their hands off the message button. Then, the email had to be disabled as attachments locked up the system, and an attachment could not be managed in the program. Now, the program refuses to sync with my Blackberry at all. It used to, and having no access to client information or matters is difficult on the road. I like the Matters, Contacts, and the Time & Billing Matters functions, but since LexisNexus took it over it has been costing more and going downhill. I am seriously considering a change to something with fewer problems and more economical. I will miss the program, but it just will not work for a small office due to the "bugs" seen since day one which we have gradually weeded out, and the cost. The bugs were primarily fixed through disabling parts of the program. The cost just keeps increasing with less function.

    older versions are not intuitive. i hope 10 is better.
